Youngstown vet files to run for 6th District Congressional seat

LISBON — Youngstown veterinarian Dr. Donald Allen today filed petitions at the Columbiana County Board of Elections to run for the 6th U.S. Congressional District. He filed as a Republican.

Dr. Allen, 76 Lake Shore Drive, is the first candidate to file for the 2010 races in Columbiana County, the largest county in the congressional district.

The filing deadline for the May primary is 4 p.m. Feb. 18.
