LAS VEGAS — The exchange of nuptial vows took place during a 3 p.m. ceremony as Mary K. Farragher and Robert C. Evans III were united in marriage on July 27 at Shalimar Wedding Chapel.
A reception followed the ceremony at Hofbrauhaus to honor the daughter of Michael and Inge Farragher, 7217 Elmland Ave., Poland, and son of Cheryl and Dennis Pike of Poland, and Robert II and Beverly Evans of Charlotte, N.C.
The couple honeymooned at the Mirage Hotel and Casino and live at 161 Beechwood Drive, Youngstown.
The bride wore a silver mermaid-style gown with a scalloped cropped jacket and completed her ensemble with a vintage pillbox hat she redesigned. She held a clutch bouquet of red roses.
A black and white dress was worn by the bride’s mother, who was her honor attendant, and the bridesmaid was Beau Hoffman of Los Angeles. Her prebridal attendants were Rosanna Eliser of Boardman, Daniele Phillips of Struthers, and Melissa Papini of Poland.
Cory Evans of Boardman performed the duties of best man for his brother, and groomsman was Matthew Farragher of Galveston, Texas, the bride’s brother.
The bride, who will retain her maiden name, graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor’s degree in fine arts. She is a self-employed artist and jewelry designer with a studio in Youngstown.
The groom is employed in sales with Airgas Inc. in Youngstown.
