GARDEN CLUBS | This week's meetings announced

MONDAY

• Transplants will have a Christmas party at the Olive Garden, 853 Boardman-Canfield Road, Boardman. Officers will be installed and there will be a $10 gift exchange.

• Woodland will have a Christmas party, gift exchange and installation of officers. Hostesses are Carol Zalack and Arlene Kurilla.

TUESDAY

• Gleaners will meet at 11 a.m. for a Christmas party at Drake’s Landing with Millie Campean presiding.

• New Bedford will meet at the Tavern in New Wilmington, Pa. for a Christmas party and secret sister gift exchange. Dues for 2010 will be accepted.

THURSDAY

• Coitsville will have a Christmas dinner at 6 p.m. with Marlene McDowall as hostess.

FRIDAY

• Suburban will meet at 12:30 p.m. for a Christmas party and gift exchange. Hostess will be Mrs. Robert Berger.

• Garden club events are published Sunday. The deadline is noon Thursday.
