Warren Philharmonic sets Steinway event Sept. 10 at Leo’s

WARREN — A fundraiser for the Warren Philharmonic Orchestra will shed light on the secrets behind the making of some of the most elite pianos.

The “Secrets of Steinway” fundraiser will give attendees the chance to learn about pianos made by Steinway & Sons, which has manufactured pianos for more than 150 years. The event also will feature Joe Augustine, a “Steinway Artist” in Warren.

The event, which costs $35 per person, is from 5 to 7 p.m. on Sept. 10 at Leo’s Ristorante in Howland, but reservations must be received by Sept. 4. Hors d’oeuvres and wine will be served.

Reservations can be made by mailing checks payable to The Warren Philharmonic Orchestra to P.O. Box 8507, Warren, Ohio.

“‘The Secrets of Steinway’ presentation provides a view of Steinway not seen outside the factory,” according to a release.
