Ohio couple say anti-Obama sign draws vandals

SANDUSKY, Ohio (AP) — An Ohio woman says her home has become a target for vandalism since she and her husband began posting a homemade sign that says, “Stop Obama Now.”

Paula Morin says a small window on their garage has been broken, their house in Sandusky has been egged, and the sign has been torn down or turned around. They no longer have it on the outside of their home but now display it in the front window.

Morin says she and her husband, Desi Morin, object to the government bailouts of the auto and financial industries, and with the administration’s health care plans. The Morins say their sign began attracting trouble in June.

County Democratic party chief Amy Grubbe says she and others may disagree with the couple’s views, but they have a right to express them.
