Party marks Vechiarellas’ 50th anniversary

CANFIELD — Tippecanoe Country Club was the setting on July 19 as intimate friends and family members attended a party honoring Mr. and Mrs. Jim Vechiarella of Canfield, who were celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary.

Their children and their spouses are Jim and Lynn Vechiarella of St. Louis; Bill and Sheila Vechiarella of Dallas; and Lisa and Jon Saadey of Canfield. There are seven grandchildren in the family.

The former Lucille Glaros and Mr. Vechiarella were united in marriage on Aug. 1, 1959, at St. Christine Church in Youngstown. They are members of St. Michael Church.

Mr. Vechiarella is retired from coaching in the National Football League.
