Sharon author releases first book of poetry

YOUNGSTOWN — Pig Iron Press announces publication of “A Pocketful of Dreams,” a poetry book by Robert F. Curtis of Sharon.

The book is dedicated to the author’s late wife, Phoebe Curtis, who is referenced in several of the poems.

The collection of 18 poems provides a window to his thoughts about living, loving and spiritual faith.

Curtis was born in Greenville, Pa., and grew up in Sharon, Pa., where he graduated from Sharon High School.

This is the author’s first book, and is edited and designed by Pig Iron Press’ Jim Villani, who describes the poems as simple testaments to fidelity and caring, suffused with belief in and longing for reuniting in the hereafter.

The book can be ordered from the author or publisher at $7 per copy. Call (330) 747-6932 for information. Order by mail to Pig Iron Press, P.O. Box 237, Youngstown, OH 44501.
