Angel Food Blessings orders start Wednesday

YOUNGSTOWN —Crossroads Church, 554 S. Meridian Road, is a host site for the Angel Food Blessings in a Box program that helps reduce the amount spent on groceries each month. The cost is $30 per unit for $75 worth of groceries and includes meats, vegetables, fruit and more. There are no income restrictions or guidelines. Pre-order and pre-pay with cash, money orders or Ohio Direction Card.

Orders will be taken from 3 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. Sept. 9, 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Sept. 5, and 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Sept. 11 and 14.

Distribution will be from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. Sept. 19.
