2 men rob 2 women
YOUNGSTOWN — Police are looking for two men who robbed two women familiar to them at gunpoint.
According to police, a man called and asked a 23-year-old Poland woman and her 23-year-old Lisbon friend for a ride from the area of Marion Street and Oak Hill Avenue on Wednesday afternoon. When the woman arrived at the South Side location, one of the men pointed a gun at her head and demanded money.
The woman told police she threw a $10 bill out the window, but the men demanded more, then fired a shot out of the open car door, stole the purse of the woman’s friend and got out of the car.
The women drove to the police department to report the crime. One spent shell casing was found inside the car and collected by police as evidence.
