CANFIELD — Amy Leigh Hancher and Neil Patrick Cornelius, both of 4663 Rhode Island Drive, Austintown, were united in marriage on May 23 at St. Michael Church. The Rev. Terry Hazel officiated at the 1 p.m. ceremony, and a reception followed at The Regency House in Austintown.
The daughter of Lisa Barnes of Austintown and Bill and Debbie Hancher of Boardman, and the son of Bill and Cheryl Cornelius of Canfield honeymooned at St. Petersburg, Fla., and live at their Austintown address.
The strapless white satin gown worn by the bride featured a red cuff neckline and a lace-up back.
Black gowns with white cuff necklines were worn by the honor attendants, Heather Brocious and Jennifer Niles, sisters of the bride, and the bridesmaids, Erin Hilderbrand, a sister of the groom; Shelly Berena; Caitlin Rose; and Alescia Harris. Flower girl was Autumn Reed, a niece of the bride.
The duties of best man were performed by Chris Rose, and serving as groomsmen were Jeremy Cavender, Mark D’Angelo, Dave Ashburn, Mark Fabian and Mike Harris. Ring bearer was Marco D’Angelo.
Mrs. Cornelius attended Youngstown State University and is employed as receptionist at the Ohio Institute of Pain Management in Boardman.
Mr. Cornelius earned an associate degree in journalism from the University of Cincinnati and is a firefighter/EMT with Cardinal Joint Fire District.
