POLAND — Amanda K. Friedrich and Michael A. Kelley, both of Columbus, exchanged nuptial vows at 4:30 p.m. July 18 as they were united in marriage at Poland Presbyterian Church.
The Rev. Dr. David Gilbert officiated at the ceremony for the daughter of Don and Amy Friedrich of Poland and the son of Tom and Carol Kelley of Boardman.
After a reception at the Links at Firestone Farms in Columbiana, the couple left on a wedding trip to the Hawaiian island of Maui. They live in Columbus.
The bride’s champagne silk gown featured a ruched dropped waist. She held a bouquet of ivory roses.
Honor attendants were Emily Sagle, the bride’s sister, and Melanie Stoops. Bridesmaids were Kait Kelley, the groom’s sister; Jessica Hughes; Stephanie Presley, a cousin of the bride; and Mandi Tishman. They wore steel-blue gowns.
Serving as best man was the groom’s brother Pat Kelley, and groomsmen were Jamie Kelley, also his brother; Tim Friedrich, a brother of the bride; Anthony Modarelli; Sam Maimone; Conrad Straub; Stelio Frangopoulos; and Paul Wilkie.
The bride graduated from Ohio State University with a bachelor’s degree in hospitality management. She is an assistant manager with Enterprise Rent-A-Car in Columbus.
The groom, a fourth-year medical student at OSU, graduated summa cum laude from Case Western Reserve University with a bachelor’s degree in chemistry and psychology.
