UNITY — The condition of a township teenager thrown from a convertible that crashed on Waterford Road was not being released Thursday night.
Zachary Taylor, 19, of Crestview Road, was taken to St. Elizabeth Health Center on Wednesday night after being ejected from the car in which he was riding. Police said he wasn’t wearing a seat belt.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol said Taylor’s father, Lyle Taylor, 45, of 2885 DeCamp Road, was driving the convertible south on Waterford Road at 8:46 p.m. Wednesday when he went left of center, then off the right side of the road, hitting an embankment and overturning.
Lyle Taylor was charged with failure to control. He was not seriously injured.
