Mountaineer Casino lays off 35

CHESTER, WVa. — Mountaineer Casino, Racetrack & Resort today reduced its workforce by 35 employees.

The reductions were confined to mostly administrative personnel and will enable Mountaineer to operate at optimal efficiency in a difficult economic climate, said Tamara Petit, director of public relations.
