2 men convicted in 2003 robbery and slaying

PITTSBURGH (AP) — Jurors in western Pennsylvania have convicted two men of third-degree murder and conspiracy after three mistrials in a homicide in Pittsburgh six years ago.

An Allegheny County jury convicted Leonard Anthony and Kristopher Garner, both 25, of the charges Thursday. They are to be sentenced Nov. 19 in the September 2003 robbery and stabbing death of 38-year-old Michael Hixson of McKeesport.
