Jury finds New Springfield man not guilty of rape

YOUNGSTOWN — A Mahoning County jury today found a New Springfield man not guilty of charges of sexual battery and rape.

James Boggs of Macklin Road was on trial before Judge James C. Evans of Mahoning County Common Pleas Court. The trial ended Wednesday, and the jury returned the verdict this afternoon.
