Headed to Pittsburgh? Stay away from I-70 for now

WASHINGTON, Pa. (AP) — State police are working to detour westbound traffic off of Interstate 70 because of a crash involving two tractor-trailers south of Pittsburgh.

The crash was reported shortly before noon near the Murtland Avenue exit in Washington, Pa.

It was not immediately clear if anyone was hurt in the crash.

But state police say both westbound lanes are closed and it’s not clear how soon they will reopen. Traffic is already backing up behind the crash.
