1 dead, 1 hurt in wrong-way crash in Pa. city
ALLENTOWN, Pa. (AP) — A sedan veered out of control in the wrong direction on a downtown Allentown street, leaving the driver dead and his passenger critically injured.
Witnesses to the accident around 3 a.m. Wednesday say said the silver Audi struck a parking garage before continuing on into a restaurant.
The car also took out two traffic signal posts and newspaper boxes before landing on its roof.
A witness said the driver was found dead in the car and his male passenger was unconscious and lying in the street a few feet from the car.
No official information has been released by police.
