Salem Library programs
SALEM — Robert A. Green, of the East Liverpool Office of the Social Security Administration, will present a program titled “Retirement and Disability Benefits and How to Apply for Benefits Online,” in the library’s Quaker Room, 821 E. State St., from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Wednesday. The informative program is open to the public and free of charge. Registration is recommended.

The library will also host a Children’s Paperback Book Exchange from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday in the Quaker Room.
Gently used books with all pages intact may be taken to the library’s Children’s Department. Paperback picture books, early reader books, chapter books and young adult books will also be accepted.
The last day to take in books for the exchange is Wednesday. Participants will receive one ticket for each book turned in and tickets must be taken to the exchange. Children will receive one book for each ticket redeemed.
