Boeshart-Thorne engagement told, wedding planned

The engagement of Jennifer Boeshart and John C. Thorne III, both of Cincinnati, is announced by their parents, Francis and Elizabeth Boeshart of Newark, Ohio, and Atty. John C. Jr. and Elizabeth Thorne of New Waterford.

The couple will exchange nuptial vows during an open ceremony they have planned for 2:30 p.m. Nov. 14 at Our Lady of Lourdes Church in East Palestine. Their evening reception will be by invitation at The Links at Firestone Farms in Columbiana.

The bride-to-be graduated from the University of Dayton with a degree in psychology and criminal justice and from the University of Cincinnati with a master’s in criminal justice. She is a postal inspector with the U.S. Postal Inspection Service in Cincinnati.

Her fianc is a trooper with the Ohio State Highway Patrol in Batavia. He graduated from Youngstown State University with a degree in psychology and criminal justice and from the University of Cincinnati with a master’s in criminal justice.
