REUNIONS | Former classmates plan to meet

• Boardman High School Class of 1954 will have its 55th reunion at 6 p.m. Sept. 12 at the Holiday Inn on South Ave., Boardman. There will be a breakfast at 11 a.m. Sept. 13 at A La Cart Catering in Canfield. For more information call (330) 758-1130.

• The 50th anniversary reunion of Cardinal Mooney High School Class of 1959, the first graduating class from CMHS, will be Sept. 4. Marilyn and Joe Joseph will host a picnic supper at 6:30 p.m. at their home for classmates and their guests. A memorial Mass for deceased members will be officiated by Monsignor Peter Polando of St. Matthias Church at 5 p.m. Sept. 5 at the school auditorium. It will be followed by a cocktail hour and at 7 p.m. by a sit-down dinner.

• East High School June Class of 1938 will have a 71st reunion beginning at noon Sept. 4 at Tippecanoe Country Club. The cost is $18. Guests are welcome. Classmates who have not received an invitation should contact Anthony Giampetro at (330) 759-0615. The reservation deadline is Wednesday.
