Saturday’s race: The Trumbull County native finished 43rd on Saturday after crashing during The Sharpie 500 at Bristol Motor Speedway.

Season to date: Blaney sits in 41st place with 844 points in the Sprint Cup Series standings, 34 behind Brad Keselowski.

Next: The Sprint Cup Series is off this weekend, then heads to Atlanta Motor Speedway for the Pep Boys Auto 500 on Sept. 6.
