BINGO, CARD PARTIES

CRAFT SHOWS

• Queen of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 291 Scoville Drive, Vienna, is accepting crafters and vendors for a craft show scheduled for 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 17. An 8-foot table can be rented for $20. The show will be advertised and in an air-conditioned hall. • Craft vendors are invited to participate in a craft show sponsored by St. Jude Women’s Guild from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 21 at St. Jude Activity Center, 180 Seventh St., Columbiana. FESTIVALS

• Leetonia Artisans Festival is accepting applications for food and craft vendors to set up for the one-day show from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 20. at Leetonia Wick Park. FLEA MARKETS

• Salem Memorial Building Association will host an annual indoor flea market and yard sale from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m Sept. 19 in the gym. Vendors can rent an 8-foot table with chairs for a $10 donation. Setup will be from 6 to 8 a.m., and all items are subject to approval. Mail fee to Salem Memorial Building, 785 E. FUNDRAISERS

• Animal Welfare League has scheduled a charity motorcycle run for Sunday at Yankee Lake Ballroom, 1814 state Route 7 N.E., Brookfield. The registration fee is $15 per rider, $10 per passenger. Continental breakfast and dinner will be provided, and there will be door prizes, a 50-50 raffle and Chinese auction. The ride will be a scenic route through the Pennsylvania countryside. • Craft, antique, yard sale, garage sale and flea market vendors are invited to participate in a fall fest for the Springfield Branch of the Public Library of Youngstown and Mahoning County. The event is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sept. 12 at Welker Park, New Middletown. Vendors can rent an 8x5-foot space for $20 or a 15x15-foot space for $25, and keep all proceeds. • Habitat for Humanity’s ReStore, 480 Youngstown-Poland Road, Struthers, is open Thursday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The ReStore carries a wide variety of furniture, including a large selection of couches and many large metal professional office desks; used building materials such as doors, windows, sinks, hardware and plumbing; lighting; home decor items; large and small appliances; electronics; toys; books and much more. All items are sold at low discount prices. ReStore takes donations and sells to the public, all to benefit Habitat for Humanity’s home-building program. TRIPS

• Friends of Fellows Riverside Gardens will sponsor a daylong bus trip to four Columbus area gardens on Sept. 23. There will be stops at Franklin Park Conservatory for an exhibit of plants and more than 2,500 pieces of blown glass, and the Topiary Parks, where George Seurat’s painting, “A Sunday Afternoon on the Isle of Las Grand Jette,” has been recreated in living plants. After lunch the tourists will visit the Chadwick Arboretum and Learning Gardens at Ohio State University, followed by a stop at Inniswood Metro Gardens to view the woodland rock garden and the three-acre Sisters Garden. Dinner will be at the historic Malabar Farm Restaurant. The cost is $85 ($75 for Friends members) and includes admissions, transportation, lunch and dinner.
