Party in Warren celebrates Ronci 60th anniversary

VIENNA — Friends and relatives gathered at Aulizio’s in Warren on July 26 to congratulate Mr. and Mrs. Rizieri (Richard) Ronci, 1308 Youngstown Kingsville Road, who were celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary.

Hosts for the festivity were their son, Richard Ronci, and his wife, Ruth, of Brookfield, and their granddaughter and her husband, Erica and Cary Conklin of Austintown. Three other grandchildren and six great-grandchildren complete the family. The couple’s daughter, Valarie Ronci, is deceased.

The former Rose Marie Furrie and Mr. Ronci were married on July 25, 1949, in Cumberland, Md. They are members of St. Vincent DePaul Church.

Mrs. Ronci retired in 1983 as an assembler at the General Motors Assembly Plant in Lordstown. She is a member of the United Auto Workers Retirees 1112 and the women’s guild of the church.

A U.S.Navy veteran, Mr. Ronci was a professional boxer and is a member of Trumbull Legends of Leather Boxing Hall of Fame. He was employed as an assembler at Mullins in Warren, at Standard Transformer in Warren and at RMI in Niles prior to retiring in 1992.
