Corsales honored at surprise event on anniversary

GIRARD — Mr. and Mrs. Orlando Corsale, 164 Crumlin Ave., were honored during a surprise party on Aug. 8 at McMenamy’s in Niles, where their 50th wedding anniversary was celebrated.

Invitations for the event were extended their children, Orlando Corsale Jr. of Franklinton, N.C., and Anna Marie Zocolo of Girard. Rounding out the family are two grandchildren.

Mr. Corsale and the former Anne Frece were united in marriage on Aug. 8, 1959, at St. Rose Church, where they are members.

Mrs. Corsale retired in 1989 from Packard Electric, where she was a press operator and inspector.

Mr. Corsale was an elementary and junior high school teacher with Girard City Schools prior to retiring in 1987.
