Boy, 6, drowns at pool party

WARREN — An investigation is under way into the drowning of a 6-year-old boy at a pool party in Warren Township around 7 p.m. Saturday.

The boy was swimming and lost his flotation devices, according to Police Lt. Don Bishop.

Police were not releasing his name pending notification of family. The members of the family were still being notified Saturday evening, he said.

Police, the Trumbull County Coroner’s office and Trumbull County Children Services are all investigating.
