Winch-Janavitz Oct. 10 wedding to be in Pittsburgh

SALEM — Announced by Margaret H. Winch, 953 S. Lincoln Ave., is the engagement and upcoming marriage of her daughter, Elizabeth Collins Winch, 5715 Kentucky Ave., Pittsburgh, and Seth Alan Janavitz, 808 S. Negley Ave., Pittsburgh.

The future groom is a son of Gloria Janavitz, 202 N. Woodland Road, Pittsburgh, and the late Carl “Toby” Janavitz.

The couple will be married in the presence of invited guests Oct. 10 at Fox Chapel Golf Club in Pittsburgh, where their reception will follow.

Miss Winch, also a daughter of the late Donald Henry Winch, graduated from Smith College in Northampton, Mass., with a bachelor’s degree and from Katz School of Business at the University of Pittsburgh with a master’s in business administration. She is a software project manager with International Business Machines in Pittsburgh.

The prospective groom is a partner with Rosenthal and Janavitz LLC in Pittsburgh. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia and a master’s in business administration from Anderson School of Business at the University of California in Los Angeles.
