“Community Connection” (6:30 a.m., WFMJ-TV 21): Women’s Equality Day will be celebrated in the Valley on Wednesday at the Warren Women’s Park. Terri Crabbs, local president of the League of Women Voters of Trumbull County, will join host Madonna Pinkard to discuss the event. Sonja Williams, wife of Youngstown Mayor Jay Williams, is keynote speaker.

Next, Megan Phillips of the Youngstown Business and Professional Women’s Club will discuss issues of equal pay for women, work-life balance and successful workplace environments in celebration of Women’s Equality Day.

Finally, Mike Forney of the Hot Topix Book Club will pop in. The club is bringing author Eric Jerome Dickey to town for a book signing next Saturday at Borders Books in Niles.
