6-year-old drowns

WARREN — An investigation is under way into the drowning of a 6-year-old boy at a pool party in Warren Township around 7 p.m. today.

The boy was swimming and lost his flotation devices, according to township police Lt. Don Bishop.

Police were not releasing his name because relatives were still being notified, he said.

Police, the Trumbull County Coroner’s Office and Trumbull County Children Services are all investigating.
