Fatal crash in Columbiana County

ROGERS — A Cleveland-area man was killed in a three-car crash on state Route 7 here around 11 a.m. Thursday. Dead is Yun Shan Wang, 64, of Lyndhurst, who was driving southbound on Route 7 with his 53-year-old wife, Yuen Jiuan Wang. The Ohio State Highway Patrol Canfield post said a second car driven northbound on Route 7 by Tommy Beagle, 40, of East Liverpool, swerved left of center and crashed into Wang’s car. A third car entered a ditch to avoid the wreck, the OSHP said. Wang and his wife were flown to St. Elizabeth Health Center, Youngstown, where Wang died. Beagle was taken to St. E’s by ambulance. Both he and Yuen Jiuan Wang were listed as stable Thursday night. No charges have been filed.
