Scottish Rite Masons to receive honors
BOSTON — The Supreme Council of Scottish Rite Freemasonry will elevate 110 32nd Degree Scottish Rite Masons to the 33rd Degree during a special ceremony on Tuesday at the Hynes Convention Center.
Among the honorees are four from the Akron, Canton and Youngstown areas who were elected a year ago at the annual meeting in Providence, RI. They are:
UJames R. Moore, 183 E. Park Ave., Barberton, a retired mathematics educator.
UJames D. Fidler, 6493 Sugar Grove Circle NE, Canton, a retired FBI special agent and executive secretary with the Scottish Rite Valley of Canton.
UEugene R. Wagmiller, 8474 Ravenna Ave., Louisville, retired training instructor with Timken Co.
UJohn J. Vargo, 2587 Rosemont Road, North Jackson, osteopathic Physician.
The three day convention will open with a vesper service on Sunday and will close with the naming of those who will receive the degree next year in Philadelphia.
