COMING TO TOWN: “The Valley Gold Show with Debor’ah Benton” is scheduling Las Vegas-type miniconcerts featuring performances by nationally known vocal groups. The events will be in the show’s studio on the fourth floor of the National City Bank Building in downtown Youngstown, and will include a local opening act. The next show will be at 6 p.m. Aug. 27 and will feature The Fabulous Edsels, a doo-wop group that rose to fame in the 1950s and ’60s. The Edsels will be interviewed and perform before a live audience of up to 200 people. Tickets are $7 in advance and $10 at the door.
