Avmar Foundation benefit Saturday at private estate

BAZETTA — Dr. Farid Naffah of the Avamar Gastroenterology and Center for Endoscopy in Warren, will host a fundraiser, “An Evening Under the Stars,” as a benefit for prescription drug coverage for elderly and low-income individuals in Trumbull County.

The event is scheduled for Saturday at the private estate of Dr. Naffah, 2747 Cadwallader Sonk Road. Hors d’oeuvres will be at 6 p.m. and culinary dining at 7:30.

Featured will be entertainment by Dahd Sfeir, acclaimed actress and singer, who will be accompanied by Alberto Magnone, Uruguanyan pianist, and Andres Tasende, her lighting engineer. They will present “The Wings of Love,” a personally crafted show that will include poems and excerpts from plays,
