American Legion schedules luau

YOUNGSTOWN — American Legion Post 504, 2225 Glenwood Ave., will sponsor a luau from 2 to 8 p.m. Saturday.

Highlights of the event will be a mortage-burning celebration beginning at 6, and a gift basket raffle and lottery tickets at 7.

There will be games, prizes, and a variety of foods including chicken, ham, ribs, greens, linguini salad, vegetables, macaroni and cheese, hot dogs, hamburgers and desserts.

The cost is $5 for adults, $3 for children 5 to 10, and free for those 4 and under.
