OAKLAND, Md. — Jennifer Lynn Howard of Youngstown, a daughter of the late John and Linda Howard, and Brian Christopher Knight, a son of Robert and Suzanne Knight of Columbiana, were married at 2:30 p.m. June 20 at Deep Creek Baptist Church. Pastor Dr. Benjamin Lahay officiated.
The couple accepted congratulations at a reception at Chanteclaire Farm in Friendsville, Md.
The bride was escorted by her brother, John (Jay) Howard. Her strapless white satin gown featured a chiffon overlay with crystal beading, sequins and rhinestones at the waistline.
Violet gowns were worn by the honor attendants, Melissa Hunter and Pamela McCurdy, and the bridesmaids, Charleen Howard, Jessica Kohler, Leslie Johnson, Lindsay Knight, and Sarah Orr.
Best man was Chad Schoch, and groomsmen were Jim McCurdy, Gary Kohler, Scott Johnson, Kevin Finch, Dan Baehler, and Tom Brainard.
The bride graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor’s degree in nursing. She is a certified cardiovascular nurse and a clinical coordinator with cardiothoracic and vascular specialists at Forum Health.
The groom graduated from Akron University with a bachelor’s degree in communications. He is director of Summit Academy in Painesville.
After a honeymoon at Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic, the couple live in Poland.
