Paul Baringer Golf Classic to benefit families in need

CANFIELD — Kennsington Golf Club will host the 8th annual Paul Baringer Golf Classic to be sponsored by Canfield Community Care Net on Sept. 14.

Registration for the four-person scramble will be from 8:30 to 10:15 a.m., and the shotgun start is scheduled for 10:30.

The cost for the event is $125 per golfer. Participation is limited to the first 144 golfers to sign up before the Aug. 21 deadline.

Advertising and hole sponsorships are available.

Proceeds from the golf classic will aid residents of Canfield who are experiencing difficulty due to a debilitating illness.

Since the organization was extablished in 2001, more than, $225,000 has been distributed to help with medical expenses, food and prescriptions for families in need.
