GRIFFITH PARK HORSE RENTALS: Located in the Los Angeles Equestrian Center, 480 W. Riverside Drive, Burbank; www.griffithparkhorserental.com or (818) 840-8401. Open for trail rides, $25 an hour, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. April-October, and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. November-March. Sunset rides are offered Friday and Saturday nights (available other nights with a minimum of six riders), $65 a person ($95 for Belgian draft horses), plus the cost of dinner (menu items under $10). Rides leave around 5:30 p.m. in summer and return between 8:30 and 9 p.m. (4:30 p.m. departure in winter).
