Parents announce DePizzo-Nevel engagement

The engagement of Ashley DePizzo, daughter of Nick and Marcia DePizzo, all of 622 Purdue Ave., Austintown, and Scott Nevel II, 352 Idlewood Road, Austintown, son of Scott and Kimberlee Nevel, 347 Schenley Ave., Youngstown, is announced by the couple’s parents.

Invitations will be issued for their wedding at 1:30 p.m. Sept. 12 at Canfield United Methodist Church and for their evening reception at Mahoning Country Club, Girard.

The bride-elect graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a bachelor’s degree in biology. She is a teaching assistant at Youngstown State University, where she is pursuing a master’s in organic chemistry.

The prospective groom, a computer programmer with Intellitech Corp. in Poland, earned an associate in computer programming from ITT Technical Institute, Austintown.
