“Community Connection” (6:30 a.m., WFMJ-TV 21): Mark Peyko, local author and editor of the Metro Monthly, will join host Madonna Chism Pinkard to discuss his new book, “Remembering Youngstown: Tales from the Mahoning Valley,” a reflective and historical look at the Valley and the community.

Sue Jacobs of the Community Arts Project Foundation will discuss the Mosaic Masterpiece — an art project involving more than 50 local artists to make a mosaic of the Mona Lisa.

Zane Welch, Eagle Scout candidate, and his father, Scout Master Andrew Welch, will discuss the Wildfest Festival, an outdoor classroom project that Zane is creating for the community.

Finally, Michelle Rucker of the Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church will discuss the Community Outreach Fair sponsored by the church to offer speakers, health screenings and information.
