Date announced for Modic-Johnson rite at Poland church

POLAND — Linda and Brett Modic, 7380 Forest Hill, are announcing the engagement and wedding plans of their daughter, Lindsay Nicole Modic of St. Charles, Ill., and Dr. Evan Dean Johnson, a son of Dr. Larry and Karen Johnson, also of St. Charles, Ill.

The couple’s Sept. 5 wedding will be at 1:30 p.m. at Holy Family Church, and their evening reception will be at St. Lucy Church hall in Campbell. Invitations will be issued for both.

Miss Modic earned an associate degree in radiologic sciences and a bachelor’s in radiation therapy at Kent State University Salem Campus. She is a radiation therapist at St. Joseph Hospital in Elgin, Ill.

Dr. Johnson received a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology at the University of Illinois and graduated from the medical school at the American University of the Caribbean. He is employed in his father’s practice of dermatology in St. Charles.
