Bethel church plans two fundraisers

NEW MIDDLETOWN — Bethel Church of the Brethren, 4023 E. Calla Road, will sponsor a trash and treasure, bake and refreshment sale from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday at 13169 Unity Road, New Springfield.

The church will also have a refreshment and bake sale from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Woodworth Park, on Luther Avenue, between Market Street and Southern Boulevard, where Redemption and Glory Bound will present a gospel concert.

School supplies, nonperishable foods, paper products and aluminum cans are being collected at the church for local charities.
