‘Mystery Science Theater’ gang to skewer ‘Plan 9’
BOARDMAN — Fans of “Mystery Science Theater 3000” can catch the stars from the popular comedy series as they unleash their zingers at what many consider to be the worst movie ever made — “Plan 9 from Outer Space” — in a special one-night, in-theater event that will be shown nationwide, including at Tinseltown in Boardman.
“RiffTrax Live: Plan 9 from Outer Space” will reunite Michael J. Nelson, Kevin Murphy (Tom Servo) and Bill Corbett (Crow T. Robot) for the first time ever on the big screen. The show is being simulcast live from the Belcourt Theater in Nashville, Tenn. The trio sits in the theater making a running commentary on the flaws of the movies they are watching.
Tickets are available at the Tinseltown box office and online at www.FathomEvents.com.
