Quilt group to sponsor lecture and luncheon

CANFIELD — That Quilt Group I Belong To has scheduled a lecture and luncheon for Sept. 19 at A La Cart Catering, 429 Lisbon St.

Tea and cookies will be served when the doors open at 10 a.m. The program will begin at 10:30 and will feature Sandy Lord of The Gallery Quilt Shop. She will speak on “Everything You Wanted to Know About Hankies and Doilies” and will display items made from hankies and doilies. The buffet luncheon will be at noon.

Checks for $20, payable to the quilt group, should be mailed by Sept. 11 to Carol Svetlak, 1653 Lynn Ave., Poland, OH 44514.
