If a 0.6-mill tax levy passes in November, it would raise an additional $250,000 per year for Austintown Township on top of the $141,000 the township is already collecting through taxes, a total of $391,000 per year. Over a five-year period, the combined levies would raise $1.95 million for the township, according to the township’s fiscal officer. Some of the figures in a story on page B1 of Tuesday’s Vindicator were incorrect.
