Autopsy scheduled for 15-year-old shooting victim

The Hubbard Township Police Department is continuing its investigation into the shooting death of 15-year-old Robert Flynn. An autopsy is scheduled to be conducted today by the Mahoning County Coroner’s office. One count of tampering with evidence has been filed in Girard Muncipal Court against Karen Adams, 1628 Stateline Road, age 29. Adams was taken last night to the Trumbull County Jail, and arraigned this morning.

The tampering charge stems from recovery of a firearm that is believed to be involved in the shooting. The investigation is moving forward and the Hubbard Township Police Department will continue to work with the Trumbull County Prosecutor’s Office. Additional charges are pending the investigation and forensic test results.
