Power restored to St. Joseph hospital in Warren

WARREN — Power was restored to St. Joseph Health Center on Eastland Avenue in Warren at about 8:30 p.m. The hospital had been without power since the early evening, when emergency power generation at first failed to come on.

The hospital did not divert patients, said Tina Creighton, Humility of Mary Health Partners spokeswoman.

She noted that Ohio Edison is at work in the neighborhood tonight.
