Kregars observe 60th anniversary with their family

GIRARD — Mr. and Mrs. Frank Kregar, 1575 Norwood Ave., were honored by family members as they celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Aug. 2. A Mass of celebration at St. Rose Church marked the event.

Their family includes four daughters and their spouses, Maria and Gus Selak, Anka and Mike Krakora, Martha and Vince Rozman, and Dori and Tom Fooy, and 12 grandchildren.

Mr. Kregar and the former Milka Kozina exchanged nuptial vows as they were united in marriage on Aug. 2, 1949, in Saltzburg, Austria, by the bride’s brother, the Rev. Vladimir Kozina. They are members of St. Rose Church.

Mrs. Kregar is a homemaker and seamstress. Mr. Kregar retired in 1988 as a cabinet maker at McRoyal Industries.
