Klase anniversary is celebrated with dinner and trip

YOUNGSTOWN — Mr. and Mrs. William M. Klase, 1601 Weston Ave., were honored as they celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary July 18 during a dinner that took place at Alberini’s Restaurant in Warren.
As part of the celebration, the couple traveled to Las Vegas, where they stayed from July 20 to 24.
Hosts for the Italian feast and trip were their children and their spouses, Karen Klase of Florence, Ky., and Brian and Rhonda Klase of Poland. There are two granddaughters in the family, Ashley Klase and Taylor Klase.
St. Paul’s Lutheran Church was the setting July 18, 1959, as Mr. Klase and the former Nora Lee Goehring were united in marriage. The couple are members of Bethel Lutheran Church.
Mrs. Klase retired in Septem-ber of 1987 from Mahoning National Bank, where she was a bookkeeper, secretary and teller. She is a member of a bowling team and a card club.
Mr. Klase worked for Sealtest Dairy, Youngstown Sheet and Tube, and Reactive Metals, and retired in 1994 as an inspector with General Motors. He is a member of the Masonic Lodge.
