GOLDEN PILLARS

• An 11 a.m. liturgy will precede Tuesday’s monthly meeting of the Golden Pillars at St. Mary’s Assumption Social Center, 356 S. Belle Vista Ave. Eleanor Hnat will preside, birthdays and anniversaries will be observed, and bingo and cards will be played. Members are asked to take place settings for the noon lunch.

HOLY FAMILY

• Holy Family Seniors will meet at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Merici Hall in the rectory basement. There will be cards, bingo, a 50-50 raffle, and pizza and snacks. Hostesses will be Betty DeGenova and Millie Chopp.

J.C. PENNEY

• J.C. Penney retirees will have a luncheon at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at Denny’s in Boardman.

LOCAL 880

• UFCW Local 880 Retirees Club will have a picnic Tuesday by advanced reservations only.The next regular meeting will be at 10 a.m. Sept. 8 at Lucianno’s Restaurant in Wedgewood Plaza. MARTHA LUPSE

• Bridge, 500, chess and checkers will be played when Martha Lupse 50-Plus Card and Game Club meets from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Room 106 at Poland United Methodist Church. Douglas Martin will give the devotions. Members are reminded to take a sack lunch; coffee and tea will be provided. No affiliation with the church is required for participation. • Our Lady of Mount Carmel Seniors will have an annual picnic Wednesday following the noon Mass. Guests are welcome for a $5 fee.

• REAC 2172 will meet at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at the Eagles Hall, Wilson Avenue.

ST. ANTHONY

• St. Anthony Senior Club will meet at noon Tuesday for a lunch at DeMarinis Hall, where a meeting will begin at 1 p.m. The lunch committee is Jennie Marinelli, Lee Thomas and Joanne Thomas. A raffle will be conducted by Sam Lavanty and Lee Thomas.

ST. BRENDAN

• St. Brendan Seniors will meet at 1:30 p.m. Monday with Ann Smith presiding. Reports will be presented by Dorothy Proceck and Ann Banyots. Reservations are required for the August brunch.

• St. Rose Senior Parishioners will meet at 1 p.m. Thursday at Amen Corner following the 12:30 p.m. officers meeting. Coffee and pizza will be served.
