UJim Arbogast, 5372 Franklin St., Sandy Lake Borough: Independent candidate for Lakeview School Board. He will face Democratic/Republican nominees Gregory L. McKean, Scott J. Lewis and Bradley E. Doyle, Democratic nominee Dan Osborne and Republican nominee Connie L. Harig in the race that will have four winners serving four-year terms.

UEdward Bardella Sr., 331 N. Summit Road, West Salem Township: Independent candidate for Magisterial District Court 35-3-03 (Greenville area). Bardella will face Brian Arthur, who won both the Democratic and Republican nominations in May for the right to serve a six-year term.

USue Ann Mulvey, 877 Forker Blvd., Sharon: Libertarian candidate for Sharon School Board. Mulvey will face Democratic nominees John Outrakis, Melvin L. Bandzak, Sandra Hoover and Pamela J. Corini in the race that will have four winners serving four-year terms.

In addition to those candidates, there is the potential for changes to the ballot due to primary winners’ withdrawing from the ballot before Monday’s deadline. They include Republican Wendy Davis-Gill, Hermitage School Board; and Republican Virginia George, West Middlesex council. In these two cases, the county Republican committee has until Aug. 20 to nominate substitute candidates.

There also will be five more races on the ballot in November than were on the ballot in May due to resignation or death of the office holder. In these cases, both parties have the opportunity to nominate a candidate to appear on the fall ballot. Deadline for these nominations is Sept. 14. Vacancies that occur through Sept. 4 require the seat to be placed on the ballot in November.

These include as of Aug. 4:

UDelaware Township Supervisor Donald Kremm, who resigned in June and has two years remaining in his term.

UFarrell School Director Sadie Benham, who died in July and has two years remaining in her term.

UWest Middlesex council member Mabel Selby, who resigned in May and has two years remaining in her term.

UWolf Creek Township Supervisor Jim Morton, who resigned in June and has four years remaining in his term.

UWorth Township Supervisor Dale Armstrong, who resigned in July and has four years remaining in his term.
