New pastor appointed to New Waterford UMC
NEW WATERFORD — Pastor Terry Brown was appointed to serve New Waterford United Methodist Church, 47070 state Route 46.
Pastor Brown was born and raised in Texas. He attended a small Bible college in Georgia, where he met and married his wife, Krystal, in 1993. He went on to graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Christian education and youth ministries in 1996.
Pastor Brown was at a church in Winston-Salem, N.C., as the interim youth director. From there, he went to South Florida where he was pastor of Christian education. In 1998, he served as youth and associate pastor at a church in Uniontown, Pa. In 2004, he went to Zanesville to plant a church with Christian and Missionary Alliance.
Pastor Brown brings with him a background in youth, worship and small group ministries. He and his wife are the parents of three children, who will be students in Crestview School District.
Summer hours are Sunday school at 9:00 a.m. and worship at 9:45. Starting Sept. 13, Sunday school will be at 9:30 and worship at 10:45.
